The Silver Carriage Road Exchange Hall is a museum located in the Awagamachi area of Kamikawa Town.
It exhibits materials related to "Gin no Basha Michi (The Silver Carriage Road)" a historical place that has existed since the Meiji Era (1868-1912).
Local residents take turns operating the museum, and they will politely explain about the Silver Carriage Road to visitors when they talk to the desk.
This time, we had a cultural exchange at the Silver Carriage Road Exchange Hall and Awaga no Umaya the local meeting place in Kamikawa.
The participants communicated with local residents in English and Japanese under the theme of "What is the charm of Silver Carriage Road and Kamikawa Town?"
Although the time was short, participants created a simple original information sheet about Silver Carriage Road and Kamikawa.
The participants asked local residents for their recommendations, and made an introduction of the Silver Carriage Road, recommended places to visit, and a message to future visitors in four languages, which they donated to the Exchange Hall.
Kamikawa is the smallest town in Hyogo Prefecture.
May more people around the world get to know this small, charming, warm town!
